What's up dog?
Oreo came to us through sad circumstances for her, as she was dumped at 5 weeks old in a box by our rubbish bins but for us it was what was about to be the best thing to happen as a whanau, especially for my middle son of 3 Silas, you see Silas has aspergers,anxiety and depression he has battled his inner monsters alot and for a 14yr old it's alot, but when Oreo came along things for him changed drastically, there was an Instant bond between them that everyone could see and Oreo has some kind of rescue dog magic that enables her to sense when somethings not ok and be there for Silas, they are totally inseparable and it's been well over 2yrs now since Silas has had to have medical intervention for his mental health. She has also taught not only Silas but all of us how to be great pet owners, how to groom, cut doggy nails and get out and walk daily, she has brought us all so much joy and the hugest giggle sessions when she has her daily zoomies and thinking she can jump to catch the birds in the trees. Honestly I don't think our lives would be the same without her.
